Troop 65 Members Earn Special Awards

    Several scouts from Delphos Boy Scout Troop 65 were recently selected as candidates to join the Order of the Arrow.  Order of the Arrow is the National Honor Society of Scouting.  To be selected for this honor, a scout must meet certain criteria, be a role model to other scouts and set a good example in their daily lives.  Scouts earning his honor this year include: kneeling, Keith B., standing from left, Kyle M., John F., Shawn H., Ron Burritt, and Michael A.  Keith, Kyle, John and Michael have completed the Ordeal Weekend and have been inducted into the Order of the Arrow.  Shawn and Ron Burritt will participate in the next scheduled Ordeal Weekend to complete their membership.

    Additional scouts earning honors this year were, from left, Justin R., B.J.K., Keith B. and Doug Ditto.  These scouts earned their Mile Swim Badge by completing a one-mile swim.  In order to accomplish this task, the scouts had to swim 72 continuous laps in the pool at Camp Berry in Findlay.
