This Delphos Herald article included two pictures.  The full names of the Boy Scouts have been changed to first name and last initial only in accordance with our Web Policy.  The second picture also listed the names of the Webelos; these names are not included as our Web Policy does not cover Cub Scouts.

Scouts hike along Miami-Erie

Delphos Boy Scout Troop 65 spent Nov. 1 hiking 20 miles of the Miami-Erie Canal from Delphos to St. Marys working on their Hiking Merit Badge.  Pictured at the Deep Cut Park rest area are, front row from left, Michael A., Josh S., Kyle M., Andy W., and Jarrod H.; and back row, leader Greg Ditto, Josh O., Matthew A., Sean O. and Scoutmaster Doug Stewart.

In addition, the boy scouts were joined for part of the hike by Webelos II's and leaders from Delphos Cub Scout Pack 42 working on their Arrow of Light Award.  In all, 32 scouts and leaders hiked at least part of the Buckeye Trail with eight boy scouts and two leaders going the 20 miles.
